EZ60/EZ63 FAQ

1. Does the EZ60/EZ63 have the same features such as Snap Tap(Razer) and Rappy Snappy (Wooting)?

A: Snap Tap (SOCD) Now Available! You can click here to learn more details.

2. Does this keyboard have/will it get a release Dual Trigger, Mod Tap, DKS, Profile Setting?
A: The EZ60/EZ63 doesn’t currently support the above features at the moment, but we’re always exploring new features for future updates. We’ll keep you posted on any developments.

3. Will there be a 75% or 80% layout of the EZ series keyboard?

A: We’re prototyping the new layouts and expect to release them this year. We’ll provide updates on the release date as soon as we have them.

4. Are there any other colors available?
A: We’d like to offer more colors, but production limits us for now. ETA: At the earliest by the end of this year, at the latest by next year.

If you're interested, please fill out this IC form to share your preferences! We’ll notify you via email once the new color schemes are released.

5. Why am I experiencing frequent key ghosting/rollover issues even when I'm not touching the keyboard?
A: After thorough testing over the past month, we've found that magnetic switch keyboards with true 8kHz polling rates and high scanning rates can be sensitive to power stability. To help improve performance and reduce issues, please consider the following:

  • Connect the keyboard to a USB 3.0 port or higher to ensure stable data transfer and power.
  • Avoid using extension cables or hubs, especially in environments with unstable connections like internet cafes. Connect directly to the back of your computer.
  • Minimize the use of front panel USB ports; use the motherboard ports instead.

These are general recommendations. If you’re not experiencing issues with your current setup, you can continue as is. If you encounter key ghosting/rollover or key chatter problems, please try the above suggestions.

Note: Some laptop motherboards may route multiple ports through a single circuit, affecting performance. If problems persist, try different ports. The keyboard also supports connections via USB-C to USB-C or USB-C to USB-A cables.

6. Why does the W key on my keyboard randomly stop working?

A: After extensive discussions with developers, users, streamers, and professional players, we've confirmed that some high-performance magnetic switch keyboards can exhibit a similar issue. Specifically, the "W" key may intermittently disconnect at a 0mm bottom safety zone, which is not a defect of the keyboard.

This phenomenon often arises because most players use their middle finger to control the "W" and "S" keys. The middle finger's force application and release can be less stable compared to the index and ring fingers, potentially leading to a perceived disconnection.

Based on feedback from professional players, streamers, and highly skilled users, we recommend adjusting the bottom saafety zone of the "W" key to 0.1mm or higher if you experience frequent disconnections. This adjustment can help ensure a more consistent experience and prevent similar issues.

7. Why does my keyboard wobble slightly on the desk?

A: Not all desks are perfectly level, which can sometimes cause a slight wobble. To help your keyboard sit more evenly on your desk, we recommend calibrating it to fit your desk perfectly if you notice any wobbling.

8. Is the EZ60/EZ63 automatically on 8k polling or is there somewhere to set it?
A: The EZ60/EZ63 is set to 8k polling rate by default, so you don’t need to make any adjustments.

9. Which magnetic switches are compatible with the EZ60/EZ63?
A: Which magnetic switches are compatible with the EZ60/EZ63?

While the keyboard can theoretically support other standard magnetic switches, these aren't integrated into the software, which may result in inaccuracies in parameter settings.

We will add more popular magnetic switch models to the software in the future to better meet users' customization needs and preferences.

10. What is the difference between the Star Trail and Magnetic Jade Pro switches?
A: The actuation range for the Magnetic Jade Pro is 0.1mm to 3.5mm, while the Star Trail ranges from 0.1mm to 4.0mm.

The main differences lie in the sound and feel: the Magnetic Jade Pro has a more pleasant sound, a lighter key feel, and offers better stability when bottoming out.

Response speed is largely influenced by individual pressing habits, as both switches feature an 8000Hz polling rate. Additionally, the actuation point you set will affect the key trigger speed.

We will add more popular magnetic switch models to the software in the future to better meet users' customization needs and preferences.

11. Why are you receiving a simple coiled cable instead of an aviator coiled cable?
A: Thank you for your feedback! We understand your concerns about receiving a simple coiled cable instead of an aviator coiled cable.

We developed a new cable to address reports of performance issues and improve compatibility with devices. Since mid to late August, all orders have been shipped with the braided non-aviator cable, which doesn't include the aviator connector.

The recent YouTube videos showing the previous coiled cable may have caused confusion, as those samples were sent out earlier.

Currently, all orders include the same packaging and accessories. We hope this clears things up, and we appreciate your understanding!

12. What size keycaps should I buy to replace the ones on my EZ60/EZ63?

13. How can i use the up arrows and down in the EZ60?
A: You'll need to configure the keymap in the software to set up arrow keys on your desired function layer.

By default, the Fn layer is Layer 2 (Mo(2)). You can map any keys on this layer to the arrow keys. Then, just press Fn + the mapped key to use the arrow function.

For example, you can map W, A, S, D to the arrow keys, so Fn + W would act as the up arrow, and so on.
